HBP Sessions

Welcome to our BPH Surgery Sessions section! Our program offers a multidisciplinary approach to pathologies of the liver, pancreas and bile duct, including technological and medical-surgical advances. From individualized treatments to minimally invasive surgical techniques, we explore every aspect crucial to optimal patient management. Aimed at specialist physicians and residents, our approach combines theoretical presentations with online resources, ensuring a comprehensive and up-to-date educational experience.

Minimally Invasive Surgery Course

The Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Hepato-Bilio-Pancreatic (HBP) Course is a training program aimed at surgeons with special interest in this type of approach. It has the participation of surgeons with extensive experience who are national and international references in the approach HBP through MIS. It is mainly focused on discussion boards in VIDEO-FORUM format, in which technical aspects are discussed and any doubts that may arise are resolved, with the aim of promoting the implementation of minimally invasive surgery in BPH pathology. This course is accredited by the National Health System (SNS), in previous editions with 1.2 continuing education credits. A Symposium is also organized with free registration open to all interested healthcare professionals. Organized by the HBP, Sarcoma and Peritoneal Oncology Surgery Unit, it is held at the Álvaro Cunqueiro University Hospital in Vigo.
